Whoa (Pineapple Nails)

Whoa (Pineapple Nails) is a sculpture made of red cedar, acrylic nails, acrylic paint and a customized scent. The sculpture functions as a diffuser, scenting the environment.

For Whoa (Pineapple Nails), we created the artwork, designed the scent, and developed the exhibition design. The scent is composed of three accords: cedar wood shavings on the bottom, cut ripe pineapple in the middle, and a nail salon on the top.

Whoa (Pineapple Nails) was a finalist in the 2018 Art and Olfaction Awards, Sadakichi Award.
