Blood, Sweat, Tears is a scent work created for a Passover Seder in Los Angeles, 2022. Built around a metallic, saline, and mineral accord, the composition translated the material associations of blood, sweat, and tears into an olfactory experience.
The scent was embedded within handmade tear-shaped paper note and distributed to each guest.

At a designated moment in the Seder, participants opened the tear, read a message reflecting on oppression, and encountered the scent collectively, using smell to extend the ritual beyond language and invite a shared experience of memory, grief, and resilience.
