Listening for the Long Haul is an oral history project building a living history of Long Covid and Associated Conditions through a collaboration between Long COVID Justice and History Moves, a public history initiative based at the University of Illinois Chicago.

Our goal was to create an accessible identity and digital platform that reflects the project’s commitments to disability justice, community care, and patient-led knowledge. Through custom audio players, follow-along transcripts, and thoughtful interaction design, the platform supports diverse access needs while helping these stories remain usable, visible, and alive over time.
